THE ANNUAL GRUMPY OLD MEN REUNION!
It's almost the end of the year so, as it always does at this time, the Grumpy Old Men Club held its annual reunion at a park bench to bid farewell to 2025 where, after much discussion and heated arguments, we decided to hold next year's meetings someplace other than a park bench. The reason? We've been bothered too much by all the damned pigeons hanging around looking for crumbs!

Bye bye, BB
Very sad news today. Brigitte Bardot, French ‘sex kitten’ who gave up movies for animal rights, died at 91 years of age.
Brigitte Anne-Marie Bardot (28 September 1934 – 28 December 2025), often referred to by her initials B.B., was a French actress, singer, model and animal rights activist. Famous for portraying characters with hedonistic lives, she was one of the best-known symbols of the sexual revolution. Although she withdrew from the entertainment industry in 1973, she remained a major pop culture icon. She acted in 47 films, performed in several musicals, and recorded more than 60 songs. She was awarded the Legion of Honour in 1985. (Wikipedia)

TWO SHADES OF GRINCH
Yes! Don't get me wrong. I enthusiastically love Christmas but there's another side to the Yuletide Season I just simply hate...and that is the crowds at department stores, the long, long lines at cashiers, the prices being hiked up on everything and the fact that it's all over, done with and gone so quickly. Still, unlike the Grinch, I have never, ever hated Christmas.

CHRISTMAS 2025 WISH LIST!
I have compiled a very exhaustive and thorough list of great gifts I would like to receive on this Christmas Season. And if past history serves as a guide, I know very well my list will be ignored as it typically has been the case for the last 70 plus years...but who cares! It's always a delightful exercise to think about all those lovely girls I know I'll never meet!
