THAT'S DANCING!

Dancing was never my strong point but a few days ago, I learned some impromptu Terpsichorean moves worthy of  Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly or John Travolta even, when I slammed a door shut right on my index finger! The pain must have triggered my prancing muscles, for I pirouetted around the room as if I was having a St.Vitus seizure!

MY ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE GIRLFRIEND!

When you get to be over 70 and you're single, you realize you are destined to remain basically alone for the rest of your life. Women are not interested in 70 year old guys and you should accept that fact. But do not despair. Thanks to Artificial Intelligence and CGIs, you can enjoy a healthy fake relationship with a non-existent woman! Enjoy yourself...it's later than you think!

WELCOMING THE NEW YEAR 2025!

Celebrating with some of my favorite cartoon buddies:
Wile E. Coyote, the Road Runner, Laurel & Hardy, the Pink Panther, Inspector Clouseau and Mobster Nick. I began my comic book career with Mobster Nick, The Pink Panther and the Road Runner, spending my days writing and drawing their stories for more than a decade. And my Laurel & Hardy caricatures were featured in six cards I created to celebrate Christmas with the Sons of The Desert film buffs society and which I sent to members from 1977 to 1982.

My son Ricardo's Birthday!

And it's here again, my son Ricardo's Birthday! It's been quite a ride since that cloudy day back in 1973 when I rushed his mom to the hospital and awaited the arrival of my first (and only) son who has been my pride and joy for more than 51 years! Have a great day, kid!

ACTING! (An Ongoing Tutorial)

It doesn't take years of practice and learning of techniques to become a consummate thespian.
Just keep your cool, always be focused on your performance and fake it as much as you can even in difficult situations.  But above all, never let your stupidity show!

TV Interview on WOWmxTV

I have a hunch this will be the only live TV interview I am doing this year.                                                                                              And it's quite okay by me!

CLARINETITIS!

First performed in 1697, William Congreve's play The Mourning Bride includes as its first line, “Music hath charms to soothe the wild beast, to soften rocks, or bend a knotted oak,” implying that the rhythm and sounds in music can calm even one with a violent, aggressive nature. In the matter of my clarinet playing, it has a quite different effect!
