More Awkward Moments!
I realize this situation is so far-fetched, there's no way in the world anyone else can relate to this
same experience...or am I wrong?

The World of Cartoon Ideas
Sometimes...no, make that, always it's hard to come up with ideas for cartoons even if you dig deeply into your memory, your subconscious, your past experiences, the news or the world around you. Most of the time when you think you have a good idea, you check around and discover it's already been done by someone else. However, there's another obstacle in coming up with fresh material for a funny cartoon and that is MY BRAIN, which came into being and was developed during the early 1950s so obviously, runs on batteries, is analog-oriented and takes a while to warm up, much like those vintage TV sets!

HENRY MANCINI
30 years ago, we lost Henry Mancini. (April 16, 1924 – June 14, 1994)
Gone but his music will live on forever!
My connection with Mancini is by way of the Pink Panther. I spent almost 18 years writing and drawing
THE PINK PANTHER comics for the Spanish speaking market at Novaro Publishers by permission from Western Publishing Co. and DePatie-Freleng.

ARE YOU AN OLD SCHOOL DINOSAUR?
We used to be called Baby Boomers but that may very well change in the future. I just read in a comment by some wise guy millennial, that "old school dinosaurs" were a hindrance at the workplace because of their old fashioned ways. And by "old school dinosaurs", he meant people born before 1970.
While that may be the case, our generation still has some rare distinctions that set us apart in a remarkable way from all others. People born between 1950 and 1960 have lived in 7 decades, two centuries and 2 millenia. Between 1950 and 1970, we also had great music, beautiful (though bulky) cars, drive-in theaters, soda fountains, and some of the most memorable movies and TV shows ever. Just for starters, the Beatles music, The Pink Panther and James Bond movies were born in the Sixties! Google it!

Today is my dear girl Allana's Birthday!
Sometimes people come into your life unexpectedly and without warning, but when you are destined to share your life with them, you embrace the opportunity without even thinking. It all comes together effortlessly and with total commitment. Allana became the daughter I always wish I had. My life has become better, happier and more meaningful since she came into it. Happy birthday and many happy returns, my dear Allana!

DISASTER AHOY!
Most of the times we suffer an accident, it is mainly by our own doing and usually when we're distracted by our cell phone. And as you get on in years, you'll find this happening more than often.
Moral of the story: Always be extra careful, don't overuse your phone and try not to get too old!

Solar eclipse of April 8, 2024!
"A total solar eclipse took place on Monday, April 8, 2024, visible across North America and dubbed the Great North American Eclipse by some media. A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between Earth and the Sun, thereby obscuring the image of the Sun for a viewer on Earth. A total solar eclipse occurs when the Moon's apparent diameter is larger than the Sun's, blocking all direct sunlight, turning day into darkness. Totality occurs only in a narrow path across Earth's surface, with the partial solar eclipse visible over a surrounding region thousands of kilometers wide." (WIKIPEDIA)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AGENT 99!
Barbara Feldon (born Barbara Anne Hall; March 12, 1933) is an American actress primarily known for her roles on television. Her most prominent role was that of Agent 99 in the 1965–1970 sitcom Get Smart.
Would you believe Barbara Feldon is 91 years young today, March 12, 2024? I confess I had a big crush on her from the very first time I saw her on TV, which was not in her debut as 99 on the GET SMART show but rather as Mandy Stevenson on another spy series: THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E.
IMDb and WIKIPEDIA can offer you her entire biography and career filmography so I won't dwell into that. All I can say is that Barbara Feldon had the most beautiful and tantalizing eyes I had ever seen and she stole my heart from the very moment I saw her on my TV set. Today, I am thankfully glad she's still with us, although the chance of meeting her in person is extremely remote since she lives in New York and from what I've read, she's a very private and laid back person nowadays. Anyway, I am happy to visit her via my DVD collection...and loving it!
